  1. I am finishing up a quilt for a wedding in two weeks! Just got it trimmed and the binding strips cut. Now I just have to stitch them together, press and sew them down!

  2. Happy Birthday and Happy May Day. I am knitting and doing the laundry and hoping to find time to sew a bit on the blocks for “Paper Roses” – a large queen sized dutch rose block quilt I am enjoying making.

  7. I am refolding my fabrics and getting my UFOs front and center. Hopefully a little tidiness will lead to some finishes. And now I have room for more fabrics. How serendipitous! Thanks! Notwendy gmail

  8. Love the Lizzy House color ways and would love to win. This weekend has been good, took a mail merge class yesterday and today the sun is out and it warming enough to start turning the ground for some gardening. Also doing some work on a Christmas quilt.

  9. I spent the weekend on the road after visiting my sister for the last week. I hand quilted an Olaf quilt and listened to an audio book while my husband drove.

  10. I’m grading research papers all weekend, and learning lots of new things from them! And after a few more days of this, I’ll have some evenings free for sewing. Thanks for the chance to win this beautiful green fabric, and thanks for your blog!

  14. Happy Birthday!
I’m trying to get caught up on housework after a couple of mad weeks spent sewing costumes for the Calgary Expo (our first time for cosplay!). What a crazy mess fun fur and stray threads can make! ;o)

Thanks for the fun giveaway. Such pretty colours!

  15. Love those solid colors! Hope you had fun fishing. I finished my aunt’s quilt, tried to get my squares for Jaybird Quilts Carnival pattern using the Lazy Angle ruler to be the right size but I’m having a heck of a time. And I knit more leaves on that Leftie shawlette I’m making. And went to the Port Gamble Fiber Arts festival Sunday with the knitters. Missed you. Saw some beautiful quilts by a few of our modern quilt guild members displayed!

  16. What a wonderful giveaway, thank you. I spent the weekend in the French alps at a quilting retreat. It is my third time attending that retreat and it was wonderful, as always. Happy birthday for the 1st!
