Welcome to What Goes With What? I’m so happy to continue color matching designer fabrics. Robert Kaufman has graciously provided all 303 Kona Cotton colors for my happy little color matching needs. Sweet! Right?!

First up is Doe from Carolyn Friedlander for Robert Kaufman. The natural earthy palette is clean and simple with a hand drawn character to the lines.

From left to right, here are the Robert Kaufman Kona Cotton colors I chose for Doe.

Kona Cotton Sage, Prussian, Titanium, Tangerine, Latte, Fog, Yarrow, Shadow, Meringue, Cream and Snow.

this fabric is my all time favorite, so first I’d just have to ooh and ahh over it, but then I would cut it up and make a very special modern quilt. perhaps I’d use the pattern Limestone Landscape, which I think would make a wonderful canvas for this line…. I just love this stuff!!!!!

What would I make? After stitching and quilting for more than 40 years, it’s time for me to take a sharp turn towards modern quilting. That’s how I found you today. There are numerous ideas swimming in my head at the moment. Definitely a quilt that is sharp, edgy, and full of both angles and circular motion.
