I just posted my first Sew Outside, Sew Anywhere video to YouTube. My goal is to show how it’s possible to take your sewing machine and sew in just about any location totally off grid. With the Goal Zero Yeti 150 Portable Power Station you can literally take a small sewing machine anywhere you want to sew.
Here is how I made sewing off grid in the wild possible.
The Goal Zero Yeti 150 Portable Power Station (Sparky) comes with a cord to charge using your wall outlet. There is an adapter for use in the car as well as a solar panel, Goal Zero Nomad 20 Solar Panel
, which will charge the power station totally off grid.
I love the idea of having a solar panel at some point but for this trip we charged the power station in the care using Odoga 300W Car Power Inverter which has two outlets and two USB ports. Great for charging phones or tablets as well.
I should also mention that we plugged into the Goal Zero Yeti 150 to blow up our queen size airbed by Intex which is 22 inches high. That’s a lot of air! Yes, we camp in style.
My favorite item we took camping besides Sparky was the Crush Light from Goal Zero. This little light is collapsible to 1/2 inch tall and solar powered. Place it on the dash while driving during the day and it’s charged by dark. There are 3 settings, bright, low and candle flicker. So romantic!!!
Here is the Goal Zero Crush Light Solar Powered Lantern plugged into Sparky (Yeti 150) while my phone is charging as well. I forgot to charge it while traveling that day so I had to plug it in.
Go! Sew Anywhere! Power anything anywhere.
