There is nothing I don’t love about summer – the longer days, the fact that I’m not driving kids to school, lazy days at the beach, a chance to see a “kid” or family movie outside on the big screen with 100’s of other people, summer fruit – raspberries, cherries, peaches, cantaloupe – blueberry picking, pool time, warm nights under the stars, ice cream cones made with homemade ice cream, tgrilled food – corn on the cob, burgers & hot dogs, steaks, chicken, pork, (ok, you name it, we eat it because it tastes better cooked over hot coals), thunderstorms and all of the intense lightening and loud thunder claps. Yes, summer is my favorite time of year.
