Doe collection by Carolyn Friedlander for Robert Kaufman from What Goes With What.

Doe by Carolyn Friedlander with Solid Coordinate.

Welcome to What Goes With What? I’m so happy to continue color matching designer fabrics. Robert Kaufman has graciously provided all 303 Kona Cotton colors for my happy little color matching needs. Sweet! Right?!

First up is Doe from Carolyn Friedlander for Robert Kaufman. The natural earthy palette is clean and simple with a hand drawn character to the lines.

  1. I would love to make a quilt for my granddaughter. But then again it’s an awfully gorgeous collection maybe one for myself. Lol. Thanks for the chance.

  5. I’d love to make a calm meditative quilt, with the simplicity of the architectural pattern detail and the nature inspired wood blocks this would be a beautifully simple inspiringly quiet quilt to promote restfulness. Thank you for the opportunity x

  7. I would make a few quilts for the local kids closet charity. We supply much needed items for the community, and a little something homemade is so appreciated and treasured. Thank you for the opportunity to enter. Love the color selections.

  10. How exciting! I think I’d try my hand at some bags, saving the white on white prints for a log cabin I have in mind 🙂 Thanks for the opportunity!

  12. I have lots of quilt inspiration at the moment so can’t quite decide but I would either make the triangle quilt “postcards from Sweden” from the Robert Kaufman free patterns or I would go with lots and lots of flying geese. I’ve just had a baby and have been making baby quilts for a while now so this one would be one for the grown-ups! 😀

  13. I love the hand sketched look of this line. I would love to make a quilt for myself. I work in an architecture office and the graphic nature of these fabrics reminds me of things I would sketch in notebooks at school for potential design ideas.

  14. Wow! I just discovered your blog. After Diana closed I didn’t know what I would do without what goes with what. I’m loving Doe and would make a quilt for my husband. I’ve made quilts for lots of other family members it’s time for him to have a special one.

  15. WOW! This is a wonderful line of fabrics and II think would make a Hobo quilt with a modern twist. They’d be fantastic in just about any design that has clean lines. It’d be an honor to win this grouping!
